PestWorld Opening Ceremony Featuring the Boston Police Gaelic Column of Pipes and Drums

Founded in 1992, the Gaelic Column has proudly led Boston’s Saint Patrick’s Day Parade in Southie and has performed with Boston’s own Dropkick Murphy’s on various occasions.

Opening General Session Featuring John O’Hurley

John O’Hurley, award-winning actor and New York Time’s bestselling author, has entertained and inspired thousands with his hilarious and deeply personal memoir, The Peterman Guide to the Extraordinary Life, in which he outlines the signposts for an authentic and more purposeful life. It is based on his refinement of a single statement said to him more than twenty years ago, a statement that changed his life.

Industry Awards and General Session Featuring Alex Sheen

As one of the world’s foremost experts on accountability and commitment, Alex Sheen is a five-time TEDxTalk speaker, author, podcast host, internationally-recognized humanitarian, and Founder of because I said I would, a social movement and nonprofit dedicated to bettering humanity through promises made and kept.

Industry Awards Honor the Best of the Best

Each year, several key awards are presented to NPMA members to showcase their outstanding contributions and accomplishments to the pest management industry. The following awards will be presented during PestWorld 2022:

NPMA’s PestWorld Day of Service

The pest management industry has always been committed to giving back to the communities they serve. We are excited to continue our Day of Service event, offering attendees several ways to support those in need. Please make a commitment to join us for one or several of these opportunities.

PWIPM 5K Fun Run/Walk

Hosted by

Have one of your PestWorld meetings while strolling around Boston for a good cause or run for the win, this fun run/walk is for everyone. Since 2010, PWIPM has been raising money for great causes with this event. The 2022 5k will benefit Comfort Zone Camp. Comfort Zone Camp holds camps throughout the United States for kids ranging in ages 5-24 who have lost a parent, sibling, or guardian. These camps are offered to all kids everywhere and are free of charge.

Registration is $50 per person, $10 of which goes towards the PWIPM Local Network Grants. Register along with PestWorld. If you are coming in just for the 5k, please email [email protected].

Participants receive a T-shirt and participant prize.

Join your fellow attendees in the NPMA Exhibit Hall on Friday morning to stuff materials to help local
community groups and organizations. Not only will you be giving back but we will make sure you have fun too! It’s an event you won’t want to miss and one that attendees will be talking about for years to come.

PestVets Gives Back

Join the PestVets committee as they host a volunteer project to support local veterans in the Boston
area.


PestWorld Closing Party

It wouldn’t be Boston without baseball and beers. Join us for PestWorld at the Park, located at the Sheraton Boston Hotel, and celebrate America’s Pastime as we bring an exciting week to a close with fantastic food and drinks, along with amazing entertainment.
